About Us

The Mission of Morning Star Animal Rescue (MSAR):

To become a charitable organization providing rescue, shelter, and boarding of lost, neglected and homeless animals both domestic and exotic.

We raise funds to support veterinary expenses, actual building and maintenance expenses, food, medicine, and all animal care products, citizen training of animal care, program materials, and administrative expenses.
We are in the future we're looking to implementing a:
Humane / Animal Control Officer
Vet Taxi
Nursing Home/ Senior "Animal Buddy" Programs,
Urban Children Animal Education Programs, and
Public Animal Education Programs.
These are just a few projects that WILL take time but, with your support not only will this help protect these loving creatures, but also bring jobs back to our area.

Sincerely,

      Amanda R. Dye

President of Morning Star Animal Rescue

Approved by the State of  WV as a Voluntary Association.

PET FACTS:

A dog’s nose has about 4 times as many scent cells as a cat’s and 14 times more than a human’s. That’s why dogs are often used to track down illegal drugs and missing persons. They can sniff out their dinner from any room in the house!
